7) Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in progression from it to the full product?

The difference between the preliminary task and the main thing is big I do underestimate it very slightly you had to make sure that every little flaw and error was corrected to ensure the near professional look we were aiming for. I feel that the main thing for me was learning to work with a new group of people admittedly when I started I really didn’t know them very well and was pretty nervous about working so closely with them. The preliminary task helped me develop my skills with the camera and made me understand about different shots and how to use then, then the main product allowed me to use all of that be in a very professional way.

During the process of producing the new product I learned a lot about the apple software and how to edit correctly on it, my previous experience meant that I was very amateur with all of this but due to the amount of editing that had to be done we each had our own big chunk to do and many nights after school were spent editing our film opening. I have managed to learn a number of new professional terms, names and meanings towards my work we were pretty lucky in our group to have a parent with professional experience so I learned a lot from him just by talking to him which was a real bonus. My level of confidence has improved a lot when I was producing the prelim task I was very nervous and acted poorly but during the real product I was the main character and was confident and very relaxed.
